I reported this vehicle this morning as an abandoned vehicle. It has MD tags, been parked here since Friday.

This is most definitely NOT resolved. I just looked out my window and the Aspen is still there at 10:03pm. I don't understand. It's the only car parked in a walkway on Tennessee Avenue NE at 14th Street, in front of the church next to the Kingsman Academy/Options Charter School. This is crazy as the message I received said that the vehicle was moved when by the time they arrived. It is not moved. Please reopen.

I realize just now that the location marker was not 100% correct, though certainly close enough given that I included 2 photos of the location. The car is sitting ON Tennessee Avenue NE at 14th Street.

Illegally parked vehicle should be towed. Public safety hazard now exists. If DPW only closed ticket without doing anything, complain to http://www.charlesallenward6.com/contact

Walked the dog this morning and the vehicle is STILL THERE BLOCKING THE CROSSWALK AND HANDICAP RAMP. can someone explain to me how we can get ticketed for being 19 ft from a stop sign instead of 20ft, but no one is doing anything for an illegal, out of state vehicle which has been parked illegally blocking a handicap ramp and crosswalk in front of a school for 5 days???

@CHSophia - Based on your experience, the DC parking official must be friends with the owner of the car. The parking lady has, in the past, refused to ticket clear violators "out of courtesy."

(Or, much more unlikely, perhaps that vehicle is tied to the deaths or murders that occurred on the 200 Block of Tennessee?)

@Ann--It makes no sense. The meter maids ticket ALL THE TIME things that IMHO should not be ticketed (I doubt they are carrying a tape measure around with them), and yet, such a clear violation is left to sit with a single ticket over the course of 5 days. This is ridiculous.
As for the possibility of it being connected to the Tennessee Ave deaths, it is 2 blocks away, so seems unlikely, but I did also report this separately as an out of state abandoned vehicle blocking a ramp on Sunday, 11/1, but also no action on that report either. They ticket people who live on the block for things they could easily overlook, but take a pass on a Maryland car in the neighborhood for 5 days. Makes no sense.
